National Displays Systems, Inc. will be introducing the AXIS series of Radiology displays with built-in DICOM calibration. The AXIS III & V displays provide six factory calibrations and one user definable within the 12-bit pallet that contains the DICOM reference. Each luminance range has two contrast ratio's to select from with a simple mouse click. The AXIS I & II are also factory calibrated and can be used with any commercial graphics card with digital output. The Prime-Vue 19" color for referal/clincal/QC stations is DICOM compliant and grayscale corrected with a factory calibration at 300cd/m2.

AXIS III is an 20.8" DIPS technology monochrome display at 1536x2048 native resolution. Factory calibration is 550/450/350cd/m2 with two CR/luminance value. Typical CR 900:1. The AXIS III has the DICOM Reference LUT within a 12-bit pallet with the six factory combinations plus one user definable configuration. A mouse click with MD-Cal changes the calibration within seconds.
