 LEARNING OBJECTIVES
 
1) Understand basic terminology and definitions. 2) Compare indications for radiography, arthrography, MR imaging, and scintigraphy. 3) Emphasize the use of MR imaging techniques in diagnosis. 4) Distinguish neuropathic change in the foot and spine from osteomyelitis. 5) Direct the evaluation of the infected prosthesis. 6) Recognize the current nuclear medicine imaging applications for detection and delineation of infection and inflammation involving the musculoskeletal system.
