The Medical Imaging Resource Center (MIRC) project was initiated by RSNA to facilitate sharing of medical information through the imaging community. Documents conforming to the MIRCdocument schema can be easily index and shared over the internet.
Using visual basic, an add-in program was created to convert PowerPoint presentations into MIRC documents. Using this add-in, it is possible to convert a PowerPoint presentation into a MIRC document without exiting PowerPoint or learning about XML. This add-in program will be freely distributed by the authors and the source code made available under the GNU General Public License.
